Policy for Website Advertising 2011

Q. What does it cost to advertise on the IAC website?

A. The cost for an ad is $60.000 plus IVA for now through December 2011. For that rate your logo is displayed on the Home page of the IAC website in the Advertiser’s section. When clicked on, your logo is linked to your website, which you manage. 

Q. How do I place an ad? 

A. Here are the steps:

• Contact ‘Advertising Enquiries’ via the website. To do this click on the words ‘Want to Advertise with Us?’  and you will be taken to a form to fill out which is automatically sent to our Advertising Coordinator. That person will then send you the ‘Advertising Requisition Form’
• Once you have filled out the information on the Advertising Requisition Form, send it back to the Advertising Coordinator (you will have his/her address with their reply to you), along with your ad in jpeg format.  
• Once you have made your payment, your ad will be placed on the IAC Website for the rest of 2011.

 Q. How do I pay?

 A.  Payment is easy!

• Payment must be made before the 15^th of the month in order for your ad to be put on the website as of the 1^st of the following month.
• You may make an electronic transfer or direct deposit your cheque to: ScotiaBank Acct # 097-00425-39.  A receipt must be emailed to the Advertising Coordinator (you should have their email address). The Advertising Coordinator will forward that receipt on to the Treasurer for confirmation of payment.
• You may also pay by cheque, payable to " Associacion Internacional de Chile."  Your cheque can be delivered to the IAC House, at Chesterton 7579, Las Condes between 9 –5 pm Monday through to Friday, along with the Website Advertising Requisition Form. 
• You will be issued a boleta or factura at your request, which will be mailed to you, or you may pick it up at the IAC House. Please make sure you attach a note to your cheque stating whether you want a ‘boleta’ or ‘factura’ and whether you will be picking up the receipt or need it mailed to you. Include a postal address if necessary.

Q. Where will my ad be placed?

1. Your logo is displayed on the Home page of the IAC website in the Advertiser’s Section. When clicked on, your logo is linked to your website, which you manage. 

Q. What about the style of my ad?

1. Your image should be sent in jpeg form with a link to your website. Your image should be no more than 200 pixels wide, 50 pixels high and 72dpi. 

Q. What is the deadline for my ad?

A. Payment and your jpeg ad must be sent in by the 15^th of the month in order to guarantee placement at the beginning of the following month. Your ad will run through December 31, 2011. You will be reminded at the end of November that payment is due for the following year, giving you the opportunity to revise and renew your ad for the following year. Remember that rates may change with the new year.
