IAC EVENTS - Weekly Update and More
Listed below are the Upcoming Events of the IAC.
Please make sure that you view the iac calendar to get updated information on ALL (Sporting, social, craft, as well as meetings for the various groups within the IAC).
March is full of activities – don’t forget to pay your dues so you don’t miss out!

1.The IAC House will be open this Thursday from 11:00am – 2:00pm, with lunch beginning around noon. Come and meet new people, rent DVDs and books and buy from the Gift Shop.
2. Our March General Meeting is coming up soon! Join us on Tuesday, March16 at 9:45 a.m. at the Prince of Wales Country Club. We will learn a bit about Chilean history from Luis Eugenio Cadiz - diplomat, professor, editor (and good English-speaker!!) as we celebrate the Bicentennial here in Chile. Come for this interesting and informative talk – plus vendors, sign-ups and paying dues. There will be a group heading out to lunch afterwards – more info soon.
3. Plan now to join us for a Potluck lunch on Thursday, March 18 at the house in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Bring green food (if you dare) and wear something green as well! Those who do not bring a dish should bring $3.000 for lunch.
4. Friday, March 19 we have a Pizza Outing at Santa Pizza in Mall Sport on Ave. Las Condes 13451 around 7.30pm. We’ll have a sign-up sheet at the house and at the meeting next Tuesday.
5. Instead of “Discovering Santiago” in March, we are going to take a Day Trip to Valparaiso on Tuesday, March 23! We’ll leave Santiago around 9:30am and return about 5:00pm. We’ll have a sign up at the house to see how many might be interested.
6. The dues for the IAC in 2010 will be THE SAME as 2009 - $42.000 for the whole year, $25.000 for half year!! You can pay at the house on Thursdays. You MUST pay by the March general meeting (March 16) or you will no longer be a member…!!!
7. Our blood draw for the IAC House has not yet been rescheduled, but we hope to have it by mid-April. We will keep you posted.
8.Our question from last week will continue this week -What is an earthquake story you would like to share? It can be one that you heard about or that happened to you personally. Send your answer to ME at kathi@santiagochurch.org I will compile the answers and post them on the website (under the NEW page, “IAC Q&A”) where they will be available to ALL members. Let me know if you have questions to which you would like some answers. Please do NOT send questions and answers to the entire yahoo group – just to me.
9.Community News: YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN ENGLISH SPEAKERS from many countries for our Women's Interactive Inter-denominational Bible Study. For twelve weeks we will be studying the New Testament Book of Matthew and will be seeing Jesus through the key eyewitness of one of His twelve disciples. Come join us and discover the blessings of knowing and following Jesus!
Two opportunities are available to meet your schedule: Wednesday morning beginning March 17 (9:30 - 11:30) or Tuesday evening beginning March 23 (7:00 - 8:30) both meeting at the San Marcos Church, Padre Hurtado Central 599, Las Condes.
